------ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ------

Our maps are very easy to use and come in a digital file in KML format.

You just need to download our map and use Google Maps, Google Earth, or Maps.me, compatible with computers and all phones.

They are specially designed to help you locate the best urban exploration spots near you and are accessible anytime, wherever you are.

Yes. Our main source of new coordinates comes from exchanges with the community. This means it is in our interest to respond to all requests promptly.

Join thousands of explorers who entrust us with their exchanges. We have processed over 3500 exchange requests in the past 5 years. Dealing with a legally established company is more reassuring than dealing with strangers or dubious websites.

Check that we do not already have the coordinates you are offering, even though we verify them each time. And finally, your exchange request must be "fair": offering a ruin and asking for a location in good condition will likely not be accepted.

After reviewing your request, we will respond as soon as possible (within a 24-hour timeframe).

To make an exchange request, contact us by email

Yes. Our maps are updated every 3 months by our team. However, if you report a renovated location with proof (photos, newspaper articles, etc.), you are eligible for 1 free coordinate of your choice.

Do you have information about coordinates in our database (destruction, renovation, fire, new owner…)?

1 verified update = 1 free coordinate of your choice.

You must send us proof of the update (photos, videos, internet articles, Google Street View…).

Updates are very important to us. They allow us to keep our database up to date, unlike our competitors’ databases. It is the large number of updates and exchanges with the community that have made Carte-Urbex a trusted partner for explorers and also the market leader.

To send us an update, contact us by email

Yes. We refund the purchase of individual cards and coordinates (Fire, renovation, sale, destruction, inaccessible, new owner…)

Provide us with proof that the purchased location(s) are outdated (photos, videos, internet articles, Google Street View…)

After reviewing your request, we will respond as soon as possible (within 24 hours).

For a refund, contact us by email

Yes. All partnership requests are reviewed by our team. We prefer experienced explorers (several years of experience), with strong social media presence and/or a YouTube channel, although this is not mandatory.
You must have a solid knowledge of urbex sites in your region/country and regularly practice urbex.

Usually, it involves more or less sharing our respective databases/knowledge. You share your database with us (map, Excel file, email list…), and we do the same.

For example, you tell us you want to share your map of urbex coordinates in France. We agree on an exchange (your map of France for ours). You share your map, we share ours.

But we are open to other types of partnerships such as:

Helping us update our database in a particular region/country in exchange for one or more of our maps. Promoting our website in exchange for coordinates. Providing us with new or updated coordinates in exchange for promoting your YouTube channel/social media.

We currently have about ten partners throughout Europe.

  • ne rien dégrader ;
  • ne rien emporter ;
  • respecter les propriétés privées ;
