Who said you have to travel the globe to find abandoned water parks? In France, we also have our share of urban exploration discoveries! Opened in the 1990s, this French urbex spot was renamed Parc Avenue in 2008 in a desperate attempt to counter debts – to no avail. Abandoned since 2014, the park’s colorful slides and funhouse mirrors quickly sparked the curiosity of urbex enthusiasts across the country.

Following the devastating passage of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, the rides and bumper cars at New Orleans’ Six Flags stopped working… but the spirit of the amusement park still seems to linger. Now in ruins, the site has turned into an unusual urban exploration spot… and a little creepy! Get ready to dive into the mysterious atmosphere of this abandoned park where every ride tells a story of desolation and nostalgia.

Originally intended for children, the Ho Thuy Tien water park opened its doors in 2004… before going bankrupt a few years later. Overlooked by a giant dragon, the former amusement park has become a ghost site where slides and a greenish lake coexist. If you look closely, you can even find old crocodile aquariums and a staircase shaped like a dragon’s rib cage. Welcome to the Vietnamese urban exploration paradise, where every corner holds stories that are both fascinating and mysterious.
