The majestic Château Burrus, a remarkable example of neo-baroque architecture, has proudly stood in the urban landscape for decades, despite being abandoned for over 20 years. Classified as a historic monument, this castle offers an impressive view of its architecture, with its imposing façade and about thirty rooms still intact.

However, it is to be hoped that the remarkable preservation of Château Burrus will continue in the coming years, despite the absence of any restoration or rehabilitation project. Out of discretion, we conducted our visit with the shutters closed, thus depriving this exceptional place of the natural light that could further enhance it.
Upon our arrival, we were greeted by an unusual scene: a photographer capturing shots of newlyweds, taking advantage of the picturesque beauty of the castle as a backdrop. Despite this activity, our exploration proved rewarding, with the discovery of valuable archives and vintage magazines, bearing witness to the glorious past of this residence.
