Château Vila Dilme, whose presence has been documented since the 16th century in this small town, carries the remnants of a long history. Having been the home of several notable families over the centuries, it has endured the ages with majesty.

However, its fate took an unexpected turn when it was transformed into a rest home. After hosting residents for many years, the castle was finally abandoned in 2009, leaving behind traces of a glorious past now forgotten.
Despite the hopes raised by the acquisition of the castle by a Middle Eastern prince in recent years, it seems to have remained in a state of decay. Efforts to restore and preserve this historical heritage appear to have been in vain, leaving Château Vila Dilme in a state of neglect that contrasts with its former grandeur.
