Helix Castle, dating from the late 17th century, has gone through several eras and changes of use over the years. Once a thermal center, then a holiday camp, and finally a detox center for drug addicts, it was ultimately abandoned more than two decades ago.

Despite the weight of time and the human damage it has suffered, the castle still retains impeccable rooms, bearing witness to its past grandeur. Its isolation in the mountains, far from the village and main roads, makes it a difficult place to access, thus preserving part of its mystery and charm.
However, it is important to remain cautious during the visit, as a guardian watches over the castle, adding an extra touch of mystery to this fascinating place.
