Hotel Kosmos

The Kosmos Hotel, built in 1934, began its existence as a modest youth establishment. However, during the 1960s and 70s, the site experienced significant expansion. A café-restaurant was added, along with an outdoor pool that was very popular at the time.

Unfortunately, things took a difficult turn in the 1990s with the onset of costly renovations. In 2002, the pool permit was revoked due to non-compliance with current standards, leading to a drop in attendance. Unable to manage its debts, the hotel filed for bankruptcy in 2003.

In 2004, the old building was classified as a historic monument, preventing any renovation attempts. Since then, it has remained abandoned, frozen in time since 2005, a silent relic of its once glorious but now bygone past.
