MANOR JOACHIM KROLL

The Joachim Kroll manor, built in 1919 on the ruins of an old farm building, is a true gem nestled in the heart of the countryside south of Melun (77), near a farm and a patch of forest, along the Southeast TGV line. Its history is as mysterious as it is captivating.

This imposing castle, now surrounded by solitude and silence, is reportedly owned by an Iranian businessman who has lived in the United States since the 1970s. Its exterior appearance leaves no one indifferent, evoking the settings of a horror film with its unique shapes and Art Nouveau architecture. The red bricks, numerous small roofs, and awnings give it a most intriguing Gothic charm.

The manor, once a symbol of a lavish life, is now largely deserted. Yet its 26 rooms, including at least 4 bathrooms and 2 shower rooms, as well as a possible sauna on the top floor, testify to its former grandeur. Additionally, an impressive number of unidentified rooms add an extra layer of mystery to the place.

Nearby is also the water tower, once part of the manor estate, adding an extra touch to this already striking scene. Despite its apparent decay, the Joachim Kroll manor continues to fascinate and attract curious adventurers seeking mystery.
