Exchange spots
Let’s be honest – you have surely tried to contact someone to get info about a place. But keep in mind: such requests can be very annoying for many people. Some Urbexers receive dozens of messages as soon as they post a new spot… Do you want to experience that yourself?
But also remember: the person on the other side is like you – they are also looking for new spots. So why not suggest offering a place you have already explored in exchange? If the other person is interested, they might share detailed information about another place with you in return.
This method can be very effective – but don’t overdo it. Urbex is based on mutual respect and clear rules of conduct within the community.
Search Google News
