Papeterie Vinet, established by a royal decree on September 13, 1935, is located on the Fonmourat mill estate, in the commune of Les Eglises de Chamalles, somewhere in Gironde. Specializing in the manufacture of pulp and wallpaper, it has a turbulent history. Burned down and rebuilt in 1899, it was bought in 1905 by André and Bernard Vinet, founders of Papeteries Vinet in 1901.

Closed its doors in 1969, the Papeterie Vinet site now serves as a huge warehouse for old military vehicles, tires, and all kinds of engines. A place worth visiting, but be careful, it is still under surveillance and sometimes difficult to access.
