Some urban explorers say that urban exploration by nature has no rules but I disagree with that.
As you already know, urbex is a dangerous hobby . So it makes sense to have a set of rules to follow to both stay safe and stay out of trouble.
The rules I've outlined below are just a few that I think every new urban explorer should know and follow.
These urbex rules are:
➽ Do not enter buildings without being accompanied
➽ Do not vandalize a building
➽ Accept that some places are prohibited
➽ Do not steal anything from a place you are exploring
➽ Don't run if you are caught
You've probably heard the quote , "Take only pictures, leave only footprints . " This is a rule that most urban explorers live by.
Simply put, when exploring an abandoned building, respect the place and leave it as you found it . We do this so that the next urban explorer can enjoy abandonment the same way you do.
