These General Conditions of Sale (known as “GCS”) apply, without restriction or reservation, to any purchase of the following services.
Our website specializes in the sale of GPS coordinates. They specify in particular the conditions of ordering, payment and delivery of products ordered by customers. The products offered for sale on the site www.carte-urbex.com are GPS coordinates provided by geolocation providers, allowing the customer to geolocate a certain number of addresses of potentially abandoned places.
The main characteristics of the products and services are presented on the website www.carte-urbex.com
The Customer is required to read this before placing any order. The choice and purchase of a product or service is the sole responsibility of the customer.
These T&Cs are accessible at any time on the website www.carte-urbex.com
The Customer declares having read these General Terms and Conditions and having accepted them by checking the box provided for this purpose before implementing the online ordering procedure on the website www.carte-urbex.com
Our store is hosted on Shopify. They provide us with the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services.
ARTICLE 1 – CONDITIONS OF USE OF OUR ONLINE STORE
By accepting these General Conditions of Sale and Use, you declare that you have reached the age of majority in your country, state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your country, state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this website.
You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
You must not transmit any worms, viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
Any breach or violation of these Terms of Service will result in immediate termination of your Services.
ARTICLE 2 – ORDER
The ordering process consists of the following steps:
- The customer selects the product he wishes to purchase.
- The customer accesses his virtual shopping cart.
- The customer is invited to create a customer account or to log in to his customer account if he wishes, this is not obligatory.
- The customer fills out a form containing the information necessary for their identification and processing of their order: first name, last name, postal address, telephone number, email address.
- The customer accesses the summary of his order. He is invited to check his order, in order to identify any errors that may have been made in entering the data. The customer can modify his order and correct any errors.
- The customer validates his order by clicking on the button provided for this purpose. The order is then transmitted to Carte-urbex;
- The customer is invited to choose their payment method and then make the payment online on a secure page.
- Carte-urbex is informed of the payment and the customer receives an acknowledgement of receipt of their payment.
- The order is firm when the company receives payment from the customer.
ARTICLE 3 – PRICE
The Services are provided at the current rates listed on the website www.carte-urbex.com , when registering the order by the customer.
Prices are expressed in Euros including VAT.
Carte-urbex reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, but the product will be invoiced on the basis of the rate in effect at the time of validation of the order and subject to availability.
ARTICLE 4 – CONDITION OF PAYMENT
We have 2 payment methods: by credit card and Paypal
Bank Card:
We use credit card payment via the SHOPIFY PAYMENTS platform.
Payment is made on the day the order is placed by the Customer using a secure payment method. The bank cards approved by the bank managing payments made via the website www.carte-urbex.com are bank cards bearing the "CB" brand and "CB" cards, i.e. cards bearing only the "VISA" or "MASTERCARD" brands.
ARTICLE 5 – CONSUMER’S RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND REIMBURSEMENT OF ORDERS
In accordance with article L 221-28 of the Consumer Code
“Of the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the execution of which has begun after the express prior agreement of the consumer and express waiver of his right of withdrawal.”
In accordance with article L221-9 of the Consumer Code:
"The contract shall mention, where applicable, the express agreement of the consumer for the supply of digital content independent of any physical medium before the expiry of the withdrawal period and, in this case, the latter's waiver of the exercise of his right of withdrawal."
Furthermore, in accordance with Article L221-13 of the Consumer Code: “Where applicable, the professional must provide the consumer, under the same conditions and before the expiry of the withdrawal period, confirmation of their express agreement for the supply of digital content not presented on a physical medium and their waiver of the exercise of the right of withdrawal”.
At the end of the order no exchange, credit or refund is possible once the sale of a product from our site is confirmed. Indeed, it is impossible for us to cancel an order from the moment you receive the GPS coordinates that give you access to the place you purchased. Furthermore, Carte-urbex is not responsible for an error in your choice at the time of purchase.
However, if you have purchased one or more places which have been rehabilitated for several reasons: renovation, new owner, destruction, etc.
You can request an exchange in the form of a rehabilitated place = 2 free places of your choice.
The customer is required to provide proof that the place is rehabilitated. We will not make any exchange without proof.

ARTICLE 6 – ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS AND TIMELINESS OF INFORMATION
We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. The material on this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary, more accurate, more complete or more timely sources of information. Any reliance on the material on this site is at your own risk.
This site may contain certain historical information. Historical information, necessarily, is not current and is provided for your reference only. We reserve the right to modify the contents of this site at any time, but we have no obligation to update any information on our site. The delivery time is, unless otherwise stated in the offer, instantaneous.
The products ordered are sent by e-mail in the form of GPS coordinates, to the e-mail address indicated by the customer when ordering on the website www.carte-urbex.com
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.
We do not warrant that any services, information, or other products purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.
ARTICLE 8 – ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

Occasionally there may be information on our site or in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the Service or on any related website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).
We undertake no obligation to update, amend or clarify information in the Service or on any related website, including without limitation, pricing information, except as required by law. No specified update or refresh date applied in the Service or on any related website, should be taken to indicate that all information in the Service or on any related website has been modified or updated.
ARTICLE 11 – THE SELLER'S EXCLUSION CLAUSE
- Carte-urbex does not guarantee the accuracy of individual addresses and maps. Indeed, we are not a travel agency but a simple search facilitator.
- We remind you that we only sell GPS coordinates that may correspond to abandoned places. In no case does this authorize you to access the place without the prior agreement of the owner, town hall or police force. Otherwise, you will have to answer for your actions before the courts. Carte-urbex does not encourage the violation of private property and advises against any offense.
- Carte-urbex cannot be held responsible in any case for damage, theft of equipment, fire, collapse or any other nature that could result in injury, deprivation of liberty or death of the client.
- The practice of Urbex can be severely punished by law, since entering with or without breaking into the property of others is punishable by article 226-4 paragraph 1 of the penal code. Carte-urbex declines all responsibility for the consequences of an entry without authorization.

ARTICLE 12 – DISPUTES – MEDIATION
Every consumer has the right to have recourse free of charge to a consumer mediator with a view to the amicable resolution of the dispute between him and a professional. To this end, the professional guarantees the consumer effective recourse to a consumer mediation system.
If the customer is a consumer within the meaning of article L612-1 of the Consumer Code, any legal relationship between the contracting parties is subject to international law, and the competent jurisdiction for any dispute in relation to this contract is exclusively that of the customer's main residence.
ARTICLE 14 – PROHIBITED USES
In addition to other prohibitions as set forth in the Terms of Service, you are prohibited from using the site or its content: (a) for any commercial purpose; (b) to solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts; (c) to violate any international, federal, provincial or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances; (d) to infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others; (e) to harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability; (f) to submit false or misleading information; (g) to upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code that will or may be used in any way that will affect the functionality or operation of the Service or of any related website, other websites, or the Internet; (h) to collect or track the personal information of others; (i) to spam, phish, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape; (j) for any obscene or immoral purpose; or (k) to interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Service or any related website, other websites, or the Internet. All elements published on the site www.carte-urbex.com including texts, photographs, logos, animations, videos, individual coordinates, maps by region, maps by department, maps by country, etc. are the property of the seller and its partners and are protected by French and international laws relating to intellectual property.
