Château Boisseron bears the scars of time and the various trials it has undergone. Indeed, the ravages of time have been exacerbated by acts of looting, vandalism and even by a fire that devastated part of the second floor.
The origins of the castle date back to ancient times, with some parts even dating back to the Emperor Tiberius. Over the years, this iconic place has undergone various transformations, going from a retirement home for top athletes to a holiday resort. However, despite its rich past, the castle was abandoned in 2004, leaving room for nature and oblivion.
Nestled in the heart of a five-hectare park, dotted with remarkable, centuries-old trees, Château Boisseron exudes a mysterious and captivating aura. Despite the damage suffered and its state of abandonment, it remains a living testimony to the history and architectural heritage of the region.
