The Helix Castle, dating from the end of the 17th century, has gone through several eras and changes of use over the years. Formerly a spa center, then a place for holiday camps, and finally a drug rehabilitation center, it was finally abandoned more than two decades ago.
Despite the weight of time and human degradation, the castle still preserves impeccable rooms, testifying to its past grandeur. Its isolation in the mountains, far from the village and the main roads, makes it a difficult place to access, thus preserving part of its mystery and charm.
It is important to remain cautious when visiting, however, as a guard watches over the castle, adding an extra touch of mystery to this fascinating place.
