Kosmos Hotel

The Kosmos Hotel, built in 1934, began its existence as a modest establishment for young people. However, during the 1960s and 1970s, the site underwent a significant expansion. A café-restaurant was added, as well as an outdoor swimming pool which was very popular at the time.

Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse in the 1990s with the advent of costly renovations. In 2002, the swimming pool's permit was revoked due to non-compliance with current standards, leading to a drop in attendance. Unable to meet its debts, the hotel filed for bankruptcy in 2003.

In 2004, the old building was listed, preventing any attempt at renovation. Since then, it has remained abandoned, frozen in time since 2005, a silent vestige of its glorious but now bygone past.
