Who said you had to travel the globe to find abandoned water parks? France has its share of urban exploration discoveries to be made! Opened in the 90s, this French urban exploration spot was renamed Parc Avenue in 2008 in a desperate attempt to combat its debts – to no avail. Abandoned since 2014, the park's colorful slides and distorting mirrors quickly piqued the curiosity of urban exploration enthusiasts across France.

Following the devastating passage of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, the rides and bumper cars of Six Flags New Orleans ceased operation… but the spirit of the amusement park seems to linger. Now in ruins, the site has transformed into an unusual—and slightly creepy—urban exploration spot! Prepare to immerse yourself in the mysterious atmosphere of this abandoned park where each ride tells a story of desolation and nostalgia.

Originally intended for children, the Ho Thuy Tien water park opened in 2004… before going bankrupt a few years later. Overlooked by a giant dragon, the former amusement park has given way to a ghost town where water slides and a greenish lake coexist. With a bit of searching, you can even find old crocodile tanks and a staircase shaped like a dragon's ribcage.
